How do I place a call with My.OnSIP?

How do I place a call?

There are three ways to place a call.
1.) To call any available user in your PBX simply click on the green phone icon next to their name. If the icon is grey that means that they are either in Do-Not-Disturb mode or do not currently have a phone registered. If their phone icon is orange, that means that they are currently on a call.

2.) In the "Open Lines" section of the My.OnSIP interface click on the phone (+) icon in the lower left. That opens a phone dialer and input box. In the input box you can enter any 11-digit phone number (1+area code+number, e.g. 12125551234) or any valid SIP address, e.g. username@domain.onsip.com. Click the green "Dial" bar to place the call.

With either method, your desk phone (or currently registered SIP phone) will ring. Answer the phone and we will place the call to the destination.

3.) If someone IM's you a phone number, you can simply click on the phone number to place the call. If they want to IM you a SIP address, simply have them prefix it with "sip:" followed by the SIP Address, e.g. "sip:joe@acme.onsip.com" and you will be able to call the SIP address via an IM session as well.
