How do I place a call with my.OnSIP?
How do I place a call?
There are three ways to place a call.
1.) To call any available user in your PBX, click on the green phone icon next to their name. If the icon is gray, it means that they are either in Do-Not-Disturb mode or that they do not currently have a phone registered. If their phone icon is orange, it means that they are currently on a call.
2.) In the "Open Lines" section of the my.OnSIP interface, click on the phone (+) icon in the lower left. That opens a phone dialer and input box. In the input box you can enter any 11-digit phone number (1+area code+number, e.g. 12125551234) or any valid SIP address, e.g. username@domain.onsip.com. Click the green 'Dial' bar to place the call.
With either method, your desk phone (or currently registered SIP phone) will ring. Answer the phone and we will place the call to the destination.
3.) If someone IM's you a phone number, you can click on the phone number to place the call. If they want to IM you a SIP address, have them prefix it with "sip:" followed by the SIP Address, e.g. "sip:joe@acme.onsip.com" and you will be able to call the SIP address via an IM session as well.

call does not complete
When I try to dial a number using the web interface my extension rings but right after I pickup it hangs up and does not complete the dialing process.
I have had this issue with a few hard and soft phones. Actually I don't know if I have ever seen it work.
Does this only work with particular sip devices?
Re: Eleven Digits
Make sure to dial 11 digits (1+ area code + phone number) when dialing a number and remove any extraneous characters.
For example, to dial (212) 555-1234, just enter:
12125551234
Makes no difference
Using 11 digits does not work either.
