SNOM
Please Note: Snom cannot complete attended transfers of calls with some other vendors' phones, including Linksys and Grandstream. This applies to calls over the Internet as well as calls between phones on the same network. There is no known fix at this time.
For this reason, SNOM is no longer a recommended phone on the Junction Networks OnSIP platform. The following configuration pages will remain however.
Technical Details: when sending a REFER where the Refer-To header includes the Replaces parameter (when doing an attended transfer for example), the SNOM specifies the Refer-To target URI in the form user@ip-address (apparently taken from a Contact header received from the target?) instead of using the original URI as specified in the related INVITE to the target. For example, if the original URI of the target is sip:joe@example.com, the SNOM might specify the target URI in the Refer-To header as sip:joe@192.168.0.1. While not technically a standards violation, this atypical approach is not robust and lacks widespread support. Note: SNOM's implementation of blind transfers does not suffer from this issue.
