Billing and Invoicing for PSTN (Prepaid) Calling Services

You will need to keep your PSTN (Prepaid) balance above $0.00 in order to make and receive calls to/from the PSTN. These are inbound calls to your toll and toll free numbers on your OnSIP account and outbound calls to toll numbers (traditional 10-digit numbers) not on our network. Calls to toll numbers on our network (both your numbers and those of any OnSIP customer) are always free.

You can view and manage your PSTN (Prepaid) balance under the PSTN (Prepaid) heading in the Account tab:

Your PSTN (Prepaid) balance displays available credit that you have on your account. The cost of a call will be deducted from this credit balance each time a call you make or receive is completed. In order to make and receive calls, you will need to keep a positive credit balance; once this balance falls below $0.00, you will not be able to make or receive calls. Auto-Refill is a helpful tool to ensure that there will never be a disruption of your phone service.

If your account balance falls to $0.00, we may be forced to cut off calls in progress. We will make every attempt to avoid this. However, to do this, we must bill you for any overage charges that occur due to calls in progress when your prepaid balance runs out.

Setup and monthly charges for VoIP DIDs (Phone Numbers) will also be deducted from this balance.

You can view the transactions made to your balance (credit purchases and deductions) by clicking on the ‘View transaction history’ link in the PSTN (Prepaid) section.
