User Portal Voicemail
To change voicemail options, such as the mailbox number, pin, message waiting indicator or voicemail-to-e-mail settings, click "Modify" under the "Voicemail" subheading.
The interface then allows you to change your voicemail box PIN. Your PIN will be requested when you call the voicemail access extension shown on the page.
The 'Message Waiting Indicator' setting allows you to setup whether or not you want your phone to inform you that you have unheard voice mail messages waiting.
The 'Send Notification Email' setting allows you to turn on/off the ability for OnSIP to send you an email notification of a new voice mail message. If you turn the setting to 'yes' you are then prompted if you want the voice mail attached to the e-mail as a WAV file. Lastly, if you choose 'yes' to the file attachment, you are then prompted as to whether or not to keep the voice mail on the server.
o If you choose 'no' then the file will not be removed from the server and you will have to call into the voice mail management extension and delete the voice mail at a later date.
o If you choose 'yes' the voice mail is emailed to you as an attachment and deleted from the server. You therefore never have to log into the server to clean up your voicemail box.
