User Portal Voicemail
To change voicemail options, such as the mailbox number, pin, message waiting indicator or voicemail-to-e-mail settings, click Modify under the Voicemail subheading.
The interface then allows you to change your voicemail box PIN. Your PIN will be requested when you call the voicemail access extension shown on the page.
The Message Waiting Indicator setting allows you to setup whether or not you want your phone to inform you that you have unheard voicemail messages waiting.
The Send Notification Email setting allows you to turn on/off the ability for OnSIP to send you an email notification of a new voicemail message. If you turn the setting to 'yes,' you are then prompted if you want the voicemail attached to the e-mail as a WAV file. If you choose 'yes' to the file attachment, you are then prompted as to whether or not to keep the voicemail on the server.
o If you choose 'no,' the file will not be removed from the server and you will have to call into the voicemail management extension and delete the voicemail at a later date.
o If you choose 'yes,' the voicemail is emailed to you as an attachment and deleted from the server. Therefore, you never have to log into the server to clean up your voicemail box.
