Conference Bridge

The Conference Bridge application may be used for hosting multi person teleconferences. A Conference Room may only hold one conference at a time however multiple conference rooms can be created to host multiple simulatneous conferences.

Creating a Conference Bridge:

Creating a new Conference Bridge is extremely easy.

1. On the Apps page click 'Create New Application' > 'Conference Bridge' > 'Create a new Conference Bridge'
2. Give the new conference bridge a meaningful name
3. Select the maximum number of callers that can be in the conference room at any give time
4. Click 'save'

Assigning the Conference Bridge a PIN:

If you would like to secure your conference bridge so that only users who know a PIN number may use it you may do so by editing the conference bridge and assigning it a PIN.

1. Click the name of the conference bridge that you would like to edit in the list of applications on the Apps page
2. Under 'Conference Bridge Details' click 'modify'
3. Edit the settings you would like to change, optionally assigning a PIN if you would like to secure your conference bridge
4. Click 'save'

Please Note: You can not edit the settings or PIN of a conference bridge while a conference is in session, only after the last caller hangs up on the conference bridge will the new settings take effect.

In order to allow callers on a traditional telephone into the conference bridge you must be sure to assign the conference bridge either a telephone number or allow it to be dialed by extension off of your main attendant menu.
